OUR TEAM
Growth occurs when we bravely confront and acknowledge our problems, allowing us to develop new skills and tools along the way. My name is Destiny Williams, and as a Graduate Licensed Professional Counselor (LGPC), I am deeply committed to guiding individuals and families through their journey of growth and healing. Coming from Washington DC and having attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where I majored in School Counseling and Community Mental Health Counseling, I have cultivated a strong foundation in providing support and guidance.Continuing with my dedication to enhancing my practice, I am currently pursuing additional coursework in Play therapy. This specialized training will enable me to create even more meaningful and impactful therapeutic experiences for my clients. With my experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, I have had the privilege of providing solution-focused counseling and crisis management. In my practice, I prioritize themes of Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Stress, and various other needs, tailoring my approach to each individual I have the honor of serving. By incorporating an array of therapeutic modalities, I strive to offer a culturally appropriate and trauma-sensitive approach to therapy. I firmly believe that healing occurs when we create a warm, accepting, and empowering environment for our clients. As Carl Jung beautifully stated, "Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes." Together, we will journey inward, exploring the depths of your being and awakening your inner strength to overcome life's challenges. I am here to guide and empower you, enveloping you in an atmosphere of understanding and empathy, while instilling a sense of determination and resilience. Remember, you are not alone on this path of growth and self-discovery. With compassion, hard work, and innovation, we will work hand in hand to cultivate a life of joy, purpose, and inner peace.

Throughout my career, I have gained a reputation for my creative approach, relatability, and ability to think outside the box. I find immense satisfaction in working with adults and children who find themselves in a state of worry and feeling stuck. As someone who has been an elementary school teacher for nearly 25 years, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges that individuals, both young and old, face in their lives.
In the therapy process, my mission is to help clients not only overcome their current struggles but also discover hidden strengths they may not be aware of. Together, we will delve into unexplored territories, uncovering the potential within you. I firmly believe in building robust support systems that lay the foundation for continuous long-term success. By nurturing relationships and fostering connections, we will create a network of unwavering support that will carry you through even the most challenging times.
Furthermore, at Relational Excellence, LLC, we take a holistic approach to health. Mental, emotional, and physical health are deeply interconnected, and by tending to each facet, we can pave the way for a more fulfilling and empowered life.
It is an honor to be a part of an organization that celebrates compassion, empathy, hard work, and innovation.
